Individual Therapy for Adults

Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck in patterns we don’t fully understand. Maybe we are struggling in our relationships, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, questioning our worth, or having difficulty feeling connected to ourselves and the people we care about. You may understand what you want to change, but find it difficult to know how to get there. Individual therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of these experiences to create meaningful change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in Attachment Theory. I believe that who we are and how we experience the world are shaped by the relationships and experiences that have been meaningful to us. Understanding these influences can help us approach ourselves with greater compassion and open up new possibilities for how we connect with ourselves and others.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), to help you better understand your emotional experiences and the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck or disconnected. Together, we’ll explore what is underneath these patterns and work toward developing new ways of responding that feel more secure, authentic, and aligned with who you are and what you value.

Couple’s Therapy

Relationships can be deeply meaningful, but even strong relationships can become stuck in painful patterns of conflict, disconnection, or misunderstanding. You may find yourselves having the same arguments over and over, struggling to feel heard or understood, or feeling distant from one another despite wanting to feel close.

My approach to couples therapy is grounded in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps couples understand the patterns that develop between them and create greater security, connection, and trust. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we’ll work together to understand the cycle you can get caught in, slow down escalating conflict, and create new ways of responding to one another.

Together, we can work toward deepening your emotional and physical connection, repairing trust after hurt or disconnection, and developing more effective ways to navigate conflict. My hope is that couples therapy can help you feel more understood and connected, repair the places where you’ve been hurt, and create a relationship where you feel secure, valued, and able to show up in ways that feel aligned with the relationship you want to build.
